stimmt net. ajax bezeichnet eine bestimmte vorgehensweise, nämlich die einer asynchroner datenübertragung zwischen webserver und dem browser des clienten, unter nutzung der scriptsprache java-script

und da javascript clientseitig ausgeführt wird, kommt es auf euren browser an, ob es geht oder net. und da sich der ie nicht an die konventionen hält und manchen js-befehl nicht zur verüfugung stellt oder falsch interpretiert, kommt es leicht zu fehlern. außerdem ist es stark von der aktualität eures browsers abhängig. faustregel: ie6 und ff geht meist gut, alles andere böse der neue ie7 von vista scheint auch so seine probs damit zu haben *Zzz* daher ist es meist sehr viel fummelarbeit, bis ein solcher script in den meisten browsern korrekt läuft
